Volvo Cars came home with 2 awards: best crossover for the XC90 and best compact executive for the C30

United Arab Emirates, Dubai 29 September 2008:Volvo Cars came home with 2 awards at the prestigious annual Middle East Car Awards 2008 which highlight the best in the automotive scene.

The XC90 competed against GMC Acadia and Mitsubishi Outlander and the award for the Best Crossover of the year. The XC90 impressed the panel of Judges with its Swedish combination of safety and style. The XC90 is a fascinating SUV with its looks, brilliant performance and off road capabilities.

The eye catching Volvo C30 was running against the Honda accord Coupe and the Peugeot 407 and managed with its sporty new look and safety options to win the award for the Best Compact Executive for 2008. The C30 has a funky style and is highly reliable whether you are just driving into the office or going on a road trip with your family or friends.
