Volvo Cars Middle East has announced, Friday, 11 December, the appointment of Ezz Elarab Automotive Group as their sole importer for their cars in Egypt. The announcement was made during the official corporate contract signing ceremony which took place in Egypt in the presence of the Swedish ambassador to Egypt H.E. Ms Malin Kärre.
The deal was formalized with the signing of the partnership agreement between Tomas Ernberg, Volvo Managing Director – Middle East and Hisham Ezz Elarab, President of Ezz Elarab Automotive Group. Both parties affirmed that the operational launch for sales and after sales and the facilities network should be due end of first quarter of 2010.
Founded in 1975 as a family business with just one showroom and five employees, Ezz Elarab Automotive Group has become one of the fastest growing automotive sales and service companies in Egypt.
