Volvo Car Insurance covers you for certain accidental loss or damage to your insured vehicle including accessories and extras. It also covers your legal liability up to $20 million to pay compensation for supplementary bodily injury and/or certain loss or damage to someone else's property caused by a motor vehicle accident, which is your fault.
You should always read the Policy Document and Product Disclosure Statement carefully when considering whether this insurance is right for you and to understand its limits and exclusions. By way of summary the policy covers you for:
- Genuine Volvo Parts (subject to local availability).
- Choice of repairer; just one quote required to repair your vehicle.
- Replacement of new vehicle after a total loss within two years of the start date of the original registration. If we replace your vehicle, this policy will continue to cover your new replacement vehicle until the end of the period of insurance.
- Option available for Agreed Value or Market Value cover.
- Automatic protection of your maximum no claim bonus.
- 24 Hour Accident Assistance Toll Free Line. On making a claim, a designated Volvo Car Insurance Claims Officer will lodge your claim over the phone.
