It has been identified that some units which contain batteries manufactured by a third party supplier have the potential to overheat in rare circumstances which may lead to a fir hazard.

If you have a Garmin nuvi GPS device, to determine if your unit is affected, please visit www.garmin.com/nuvibatterypcbrecall and enter the unit's serial number. If you have an affected unit please follow the steps outlined on the website.
