    A sunny day in the castle park

    Tjolöholm Classic Motor was held on May 23 for the 17th consecutive time. Once again, it turned out to be a very sunny day, although a bit windy, and as usual attracted many people. According to the organizers, over 1,300 vehicles were displayed through more than 100 clubs and admired by 10,000 visitors. The whole day was filled with many different activities in order to enjoy exhibitors and visitors alike. A newly restored Spitfire Mk XVI, one of a pair belonging to Swedish company Biltema, did a stunning air show which was greatly admired. The engine noise...

     

    Volvo Cars Heritage and Volvo Museum joined forces and arranged an anniversary set-up with the Volvo PV36 Carioca in the centre, celebrating its 75th birthday,  flanked by a pearl white 780 Turbo and the blue Volvo 480 Cabrio prototype, both of them celebrating their 25 anniversary. All three cars were greatly admired and were part of a really magnificent Volvo car attendance.
