Les participants ont pris part à la tournée en mettant à l'essai directement les tout nouveaux systèmes de sécurité de la toute nouvelle Volvo S60 entièrement repensée, comme le système de détection des piétons. Pour être admissibles au concours, les participants étaient tenus de s'inscrire en ligne et de participer aux événements de la tournée. Un tirage au sort a ensuite eu lieu le 12 août; c'est alors que Chris MacDonald, de Toronto, en Ontario, a été choisi comme le gagnant du grand prix.
