Key functions

1488:3761|The key has five buttons 3970:8855|A short press on the lock symbol locks the doors and the trunk. 9090:12251|A long press will also close windows and sun roof. 12538:15621|The unlock button unlock the doors and the trunk. 16065:18468|This button turns on the approach lights. 18703:21289|The trunk button unlocks just the trunk. 21498:22883|And there is a panic button. 23405:29779|Press the panic button for three seconds or two quick presses and you turn on the alarm and the position indicators. 30197:36231|The key has a removable key blade, which can be used to open the driver door and the trunk manually.

Steering Wheel Adjustment

118:3160|The first thing you want to do is to adjust the steering wheel. 3238:8751|Just pull this lever and adjust the wheel up or down, in or out.

Mechanical Seat

38:3604|Manual seats. Adjustment is really simple. 3970:7079|Just pull this bar to move it forward or backward. 7418:14759|Raise or lower the front of the seat by pulling up or pressing down on this and move the backrest with this. 15830:19043|Move the seat up or down with this handle. 19774:23301|The lumbar support is adjusted here.

Seat With Memory Function

38:1619|Power seats. 2038:3631|Adjustment is really simple. 4257:8019|Just press this button to move the seat forward or backward. 8278:12852|Raise or lower the seat with this, and move the backrest with this. 13557:16927|Move the front of the seat cushion with this. 17449:21968|Store your setting by pressing the memory button and setting 1. 22491:24476|The lumbar support is adjusted here. 24999:29779|This setting is activated every time this specific key and remote is used. 30406:33619|It’s really convenient if you share the car with someone else.

Starting the engine

339:2429|Lets start the engine. 3343:10004|When you hear the engine revving at cold start it’s a feature that makes the exhausts cleaner and less harmful. 10475:13505|This can go on for several minutes if it’s really cold.

Drivers door control panel

1776:7575|You can lock all the doors including the trunk from the inside by pressing this button. 7967:9952|Unlock by pressing again. 10213:13975|All power windows can be controlled from the driver side. 14132:20271|A full pull or press opens or closes the window automatically all the way. 20741:23118|A gentle press or pull gives manual control. 23902:28055|Disengage the rear power windows by pressing the electric child safety lock. 28358:30641|Engage by pressing again.

Electric climate control ECC (Option)

130:4310|Press the Auto button to control the climate automatically. 6243:10840|You can set the temperature individually for the driver side or the passenger side. 11598:17031|First choose side by pressing the right button. Look at the green indication light. 17162:20062|Turn the right knob to set the temperature. 20662:24999|To override the blower Auto setting, turn the blower knob. 25558:29440|Change the air distribution by pressing one of the buttons in the symbol. 30700:36388|The optional air quality system separates gases and particles from the outside air. 36798:40672|A green light indicates that the air quality sensor is active. 40829:46262|Pressing the button toggles between, Auto, Recirculation Off or Recirculation On. 46550:53655|If you always leave the air conditioning on, it makes the air quality better and it quickly removes condensation from the windows.

Rainsensor (Option)

1410:6556|It is a good advise to always activate the rain sensor when there is a risk for rain. 7026:9168|This way you don’t have to bother with the wipers. 9717:14550|The symbol in the main instrument makes it easy to see if it’s on or off. 16718:20009|Adjust the sensitivity by turning this wheel. 21368:23875|You might want to make an extra wipe now and then. 24346:26148|Just flip the stalk upward. 26644:31817|But if you flip it downward you override the rain sensor and you have to activate it again.

Infotainment system

8228:14524|You have a Dolby Prologic II decoder for true surround sound from a CD and MP3. 14942:22987|You can also plug in your mp3 player in the auxiliary input or the optional USB input and listen through the speakers. 23405:32653|The USB port supports iPod and USB memory sticks with music files in mp3, WMA and WAV formats. 32992:38191|Step through the music files by turning the tuningknob or pressing the arrow buttons. 38530:43964|The first time you listen to music from an external device you might need to adjust the input volume. 44669:48091|Just press the Menu button and navigate to AUX volume. 49345:52741|Then you adjust the volume by turning the tuning knob. 53942:58644|Pressing the Menu button and using the navigation arrows can reach lots of other settings.

The steering wheel buttons

Clock and Trip meter

Electrical sockets

Folding the rear seat backrest

Trip computer

1201:6034|The trip computer can be accessed by turning the wheel on the left stalk. 6817:23902|The trip computer displays information about Average speed, current speed, Stability and Traction Control (STC or DSTC) engagement, instantaneous fuel consumption, average fuel consumption and distance to empty tank. 24320:29918|The distance is calculated from the average fuel consumption during the last 30 kilometers. 30484:35709|This means that if you start driving more aggressively it might not be totally accurate.

Direction indicators

2194:8594|The direction indicators have a short flash option if you move the stalk switch up or down one step. 9064:11311|This is perfect when overtaking.

Left-hand stalk switch and lighting pane

783:5328|Turn the headlamp control clockwise to the end position for running lights. 5694:10161|Flash the main beam by moving the stalk gently towards the steering wheel 14680:18155|In the lighting panel you can also adjust the height of the light beam. 18558:23144|Do this if the car is heavy loaded and the beam points too high.

BLIS

235:6504|The Blind Spot Information System is an option that will help you to notice vehicles in the blind spot. 6713:15072|When someone enters the blind spot either from behind or when you overtake another vehicle, you get a indication light here.

Pacos childseat

365:5955|To use a child seat in the front seat, you MUST deactivate the passenger airbag. 6086:10631|To do this, open the passenger door and turn the switch to OFF. 11049:14785|You will get a reminder in the rear view mirror saying it’s off.

Refuelling
