How do I find the status of my Volvo On Call subscription?
Log into your Volvo On Call mobile app. Enter the 'Settings' menu. Select 'My account'. Here you will find the expiration date of your subscription. If you don't have access to the Volvo On Call mobile app, please contact your local Volvo dealer who will inform you about the end date of your subscription.
When can I press the On Call button?
You should use the Volvo On Call button in case you need roadside assistance, e.g. if your car breaks down, you run out of fuel, get a flat tyre etc. By pressing the On Call button in your car you will be in contact with a Volvo On Call operator at the customer service centre who will guide suitable assistance to your location.
What is the difference between the password and the PIN-Code?
The password is required when logging in to the app with your Volvo ID.
The Volvo On Call PIN-Code is the 4-digit code you gave verbally to the Volvo On Call operator during the first call at your dealer. This code is used when connecting your mobile phone with your car, for remote door unlock by our call centre and for theft notification services. By providing the PIN code, you prove that you have authority to ask for these services. You should guard and remember the code just like any other PIN-code.
I have bought a used car with Volvo On Call. What should I do?
Proceed as follows:
- (Optional) The previous owner can indicate in their mobile app that the vehicle will change owner. All previous data will be erased.
- Contact your Volvo dealer. You need to identify yourself as the owner of the vehicle.
- If not already done, the dealer will erase data from the previous owner and add your details.
- Press the On Call button in your car and provide your choice of personal four-digit PIN code to the Volvo On Call operator.
