We visited three artists in three countries in our Volvo XC60 and asked them to paint it in a place that meant something special to them. This is what happened in Lugano, Switzerland.

What is the first place that comes to mind when you hear the phrase “street art”? New York subways? A Parisian underpass? Chances are it won’t be the smart Swiss city of Lugano, with its elegant squares, luxury hotels and yacht-jostled lake. But cast off your preconceptions and reflect for a moment upon the origins of the word “graffiti” – an Italian word describing the intricate technique of scratching images in plaster.
