CERCUL VIEŢII

1 – Accidente reale

Volvo este unul dintre puţinii producători auto care are propria echipă de studiu al accidentelor survenite în trafic. Începând cu anul 1970, echipa a studiat peste 40.000 de accidente care implică un Volvo. Cunoaşterea poate salva vieţi.

2 – Standarde de siguranţă

Volvo a fost întotdeauna lider în ceea ce priveşte siguranţa şi toate modelele noi Volvo îndeplinesc sau depăşesc standardele de siguranţă curente stabilite de guverne pentru producătorii de autovehicule.

3 – Dezvoltarea produselor

City Safety

Sistemul de evitarea a coliziunilor City Safety este o funcţie inclusă în premieră în dotarea standard a autovehiculelor Volvo pentru mai multă siguranţă în traficul urban. La viteze de până la 30 km/h, această tehnologie pe bază de laser monitorizează traficul din faţă şi sesizează o coliziune posibilă, aplică automat frânele şi dezactivează clapeta de frână dacă nu frânaţi pentru a ajuta la reducerea efectelor unei coliziuni.

Sistemul de avertizare a şoferului

Driver Alert Control ajută să alertezi şoferii obosiţi sau a căror atenţie a fost distrasă la viteze mai mari de 65 km/h. Folosind semnale din partea unei camere digitale pentru monitorizarea drumului care urmează să fie parcurs, împreună cu date de la mişcările volanului şi compară comportamentul neregulat cu stilul tău normal de condus. Detectarea pietonilor cu frâna automată completă

La viteze de până la 35 km/h, sistemul novator al Volvo de detectare a pietonilor poate detecta dacă o persoană apare pe neaşteptate în faţa autovehiculului dumneavoastră. Acesta vă alertează mai întâi pe dumneavoastră cu o lumină roşie, intermitentă de avertizare pe parbriz şi o alarmă sonoră, iar dacă nu frânaţi la timp, aceasta aplică automat forţa completă a frânelor.

Un autovehicul construit în jurul conceptului de siguranţă

Mai mult de 15 inovaţii înglobate în modelele Volvo din prezent au fost prima dată propuse în urmă cu un deceniu prin autovehiculul nostru construit în jurul conceptului de siguranţă.
