Winter tires or snow chains must be used between Dec 1 and March 31 when road conditions require it.
The rules applies to automobiles, light trucks and buses with a maximum weight of 3,5 tons and for the trailer pulled by such a vehicle.
Exeptions to the rule:
- If the vehicle is registered in a country outside of Sweden
- When a journey begins or ends in a country outside Sweden
