Help when close to home
Volvo Roadside Assistance offers the following:
- Change of Tyre Service.
- Lock Out Service.
- Flat Battery Restart Service.
- Mechanical "First aid" and temporary adjustments or repairs to make the vehicle mobile.
- Free towing and/or small boat, trailer or caravan being towed at the time to either the nearest referred Volvo Centre or an Authorised Service Agent.
Help when further afield
If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 24 hours and is located more than 100 kilometres from your home, Volvo Roadside Assistance will also provide the following:
Accommodation for up to 3 nights to a maximum of $120 per night. Personal expenses are not included and are to be paid for by the driver.
Rental car for up to 3 days to a maximum of $120 per day. Personal Expenses such as additional insurance, fuel, or miscellaneous are to be paid for by the driver.
Alternative ground transport home such as by bus or train. Roadside Assistance does not cover Inter-island ferry charges.
Help after an Accident
In the event of an accident, the Volvo Roadside Assistance benefits of vehicle recovery, emergency accommodation and rental car do not apply. Your comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy should cover those. Roadside Assistance will however arrange the following on your behalf:
- Offer advice on what next steps to take.
- Offer to arrange a tow to either safe storage or a crash repairer.
- Offer to make any phone calls you may require.
