Volvo Cars continued its global sales momentum in September and reported its 16th consecutive month of global growth on the back of increases in all main regions. Sales for the first nine months are up 9.6 per cent year-on-year to 379,329 cars, while September sales rose by 6 per cent to 48,259 cars.

Human Made Stories
Volvo Car UK has today announced Human Made Stories, a series of short films in partnership with Sky Atlantic, to mark its new 90 series range of cars.
In parallel with Volvo's values of innovation, sustainability, craftsmanship and design, Human Made Stories conveys the Volvo philosophy to always put people first by telling the stories of three defiant pioneers: people who inherently do things differently, challenge conventions and create their own path.
Tyn Lon Garage, the only Volvo dealership in North Wales, located in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (or Llanfair PG for short !) is extremely proud to have attained the Volvo Car UK Dealer of the Year Award for 2015. From a network of 103 dealerships in the UK, this is a fantastic achievement for a small rural dealership based in North West Wales.
In its’ fortieth year under the same ownership, Tyn Lon Garage has won the national award on numerous occasions, however, in the ever-increasingly competitive marketplace, this is a significant milestone for the company.
Whilst the industry is developing at an exponential rate, our mission statement and core values remain the same as they were nearly 40 years ago, with service excellence being engraved within our DNA. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a familiar feel here, for both the new and established customer.
We try to make each customer interaction special– one size certainly does not fit all. We need to go beyond simply delivering our product and services, we develop strong bonds with our customers and provide the customer with a unique experience , anticipating and exceeding their expectations. This is paramount to maintaining a long lasting relationship with our customers. We firmly believe that delivering customer excellence is not just necessary to survive, but essential to thrive in the industry.
We are very active within our area, being involved in a number of organisations via various sponsorships and support. We have established a scholarship and support programme with the local College, and supplying a signwritten pool car for their use, and have just undertaken a partnership with the innovative North Wales-based Adventure company, Zipworld , where our products gain massive exposure. We have a strong and historic reputation in our local area, which is crucial in today’s business environment. Building on this, we invest a significant resource in social media, which is essential in today’s changing market. Engaging with the customer throughout an online presence in any shape or form is the way we can drive our business forward, otherwise we will get left behind. Being a small company, we are agile enough to react quickly to any situation, and deliver the message accordingly. We are also very active within the golf fraternity, sponsoring the professional at Caernarfon Golf Club
The Award is measured over a number of key metrics throughout the business, each and every one of our well established team have been crucial in achieving this award, and it is something we can all take great pride from. It certainly is a testament to the hard work of everyone here at Tyn Lon Garage, and we are happy to share this award with all our customers and staff.
