Working at Volvo Cars is all about bringing the Volvo promise to life. Volvo's corporate culture is characterised by energy in every situation, passion for success and respect for the individual. Based on these values and convictions the aim is to thoroughly integrate total quality in all that Volvo does.
The basic principles governing the way of working are participation, involvement, customer focus, continuous improvement and constant feedback.
The major challenge is to continue the process of setting the company apart from the competition so as to retain our existing customers and attract new ones in ever larger numbers.
Here at Volvo Car UK, we employ approximately 250 people across a number of sites including Marlow, Daventry and Hatfield. Based at our UK head office in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, are various teams including Sales and Marketing, Public Relations, IT, Finance, Human Resources and Customer Relations functions. We also have field teams who manage our relationships with the Volvo dealer network throughout the UK and Ireland, and who also work directly with fleet customers in the corporate and leasing market. At Daventry, Northamptonshire, we have a fully equipped Training and Development Centre, which provides high quality training to dealership staff and our own employees. Our Parts Distribution Centre can also be found in Daventry, providing dealerships with parts and accessories for our customers.
We are proud to offer our employees challenging roles within an open and creative working environment. The only thing we discriminate on is ability. A positive attitude toward equality and diversity is right for society, right for Volvo, right for our employees and right for our customers.
