A personal message from Roger Pugsley, Managing Director, Volvo Cars Cardiff.
As Managing Director of Fordthorne and now Volvo Cars Cardiff, I am pleased to introduce myself and my team to Volvo customers.

Fordthorne has been established as Cardiff’s main Ford Dealer since 1922, so we’re no strangers to looking after the area’s customers and vehicles. We are very proud of our strong local connections, which include being a key sponsor of Cardiff Bay Yacht Club. The company is now delighted to represent Volvo Cars UK in Cardiff, and Volvo Cars Cardiff has already sponsored the Shanghai and Nimrod Cup races in Cardiff Bay this year.

My personal goal is to provide outstanding levels of employee and customer satisfaction, and to thereby keep them for life.

As the sole owner of both Volvo Cars Cardiff and Fordthorne, I am determined to give our customers the benefits of dealing with a family-owned concern. We really know and understand our local area and will continue to be small enough to care, yet large enough to deliver.

Many Volvo customers will recognise team members who have joined Volvo Cars Cardiff from Baytrack, the former Volvo Dealer. These key individuals bring with them a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the Volvo brand. Combine this with the award-winning management team already in place, and I am confident we will provide exceptional customer service to Volvo customers old and new.

The company has been based at the Penarth Road site since the 1960s, and if you have passed by recently, you may have noticed that construction is progressing well on our exciting, new, purpose-built Volvo showroom. This will soon enable us
to display eight Volvo models as well as give customers a chance to use the very latest interactive touch-screen technology.
Our facilities will also include a Volvo service reception and comfortable, family-friendly waiting area.

Of course, throughout the building work you can still rely on Volvo Cars Cardiff for all your Volvo needs. Our Service Department, for example, boasts Volvo trained technicians using only Genuine Volvo Parts. Pricing is simple and repairs are guaranteed.
