The Search for the Top UK Volvo RYA Champion Club Volunteer competition is subject to the following terms and conditions and is open only to UK Recipients who are 21 years or older. Entrants must also be a member of one of the Volvo RYA Champions Clubs in the United Kingdom.
All entrants are bound by the terms and conditions of the promotion as detailed on the Volvo Sailing website. Employees of Volvo Car UK Limited, their dealers, printers and agents or anyone connected with the Promotion and their families or employees are not eligible to take part.
The winning entrant and guest will be covered by Volvo Car insurance whilst on the trip (starting from the outward plane trip to and including the return plane trip).
The winner will be selected from a panel of three people: the RYA Junior Racing Manager, the RYA Volunteer Officer and a Team Volvo for life sailor. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
Volvo Car UK reserves the right to check the validity of any entry. Entries failing to comply with these rules will not be accepted.
All entries must be received by Wednesday 31 December 2008
No liability is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
Winners may be required to take part in publicity for Volvo Car UK (including photographs).
Volvo Car UK reserves the right to offer the prize to other entrants should a winner be unable, for any reason, to accept the prize.
Entrants agree to make themselves available for publicity purposes as requested by Volvo Car UK and agree to the use of their image and quotes as Volvo Car UK shall decide.
If circumstances dictate, Volvo Car UK reserves the right to change the prize offered.
Volvo Car UK accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property howsoever caused either in the UK or overseas.
In the event of a dispute the decision by Volvo Car UK is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
The Search for the Top UK Volvo RYA Champion Club Volunteer competition panel will take place before 25 January 2009 .The winner will be notified by post no later than 2 February 2009.
To request the name and country of the winner, please send a stamped addressed envelope to Carlene Williams, Search for the Top UK Volvo RYA Champion Club Volunteer competition. Volvo Sailing, c/o Into the blue, One The Parade, Cowes, Isle of Wight. PO31 7QJ after 21 February 2009. No other correspondence will be entered in to concerning the Search for the Top UK Volvo RYA Champion Club Volunteer competition.
In the event of the prize remaining unclaimed one month after notification by post to the address provided by the entrant Volvo may at its discretion draw another winner who will then be entitled to the prize.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Volvo Search for the Top UK Volvo RYA Champion Club Volunteer competition.
The prize may affect the tax position of the winner
Entry implies acceptance to these rules.
