Theft alert

If anyone tries to break into your car, the Volvo onCall Customer Service is automatically alerted. The operator first calls the person inside the car on the integrated GSM phone. If after the verification process is conducted the operator believes your car is being used by an unauthorised person, the police will be alerted and decide on the next step together with the operator. Note: In some cases, you may receive a significant discount on your car insurance policy if you have this service. Ask your Insurance representative.

Track-and-Stop

If your car is stolen, it can be tracked via satellite and remotely immobilised. When the service is activated, the Volvo onCall operator will determine the car's current location - irrespective of whether the car is being driven or transported by any other method. To facilitate the recovery of the car it will not be possible to start the engine again after it has been switched off. The Track-and-Stop functionality will only be used in case of suspected crime and the exact position of the car will only be provided to the police.
