If you pick up your new Volvo from our official Gothenburg Factory Delivery Center (FDC), you will enjoy a whole host of enviable benefits, including special hotel rates. In order to assist you in the best possible way delivering your new Volvo the FDC staff can not help you making any travel reservations.
Free Delivery
Pick up your new Volvo from the Factory Delivery Center in Gothenburg and delivery is free of charge. Transportation to the delivery center is also provided free of charge, whether you are arriving from the airport, city center, the ferry terminal, or your hotel. Many of our customers recommend spending the first night at the hotel and take delivery the next day being fully rested.

If you plan to stay in Gothenburg, you can also take advantage of special hotel rates. The following hotels are available through our travel agency. Please note that the Factory Delivery Center staff cannot assist making any travel reservations.

Once at the Factory Delivery Center, feel free to freshen up with a shower before beginning your vacation.

The Volvo Brand Center will replace the Volvo Plant Tour.
Documents Required
When you arrive at the Factory Delivery Center, simply present your passport, drivers license and order confirmation. You will also need to bring a number of special documents with you. These vary from program to program, so please review the list below for the documents required, as well as a list of the documents that you will receive from Volvo.

Changing Pickup Dates
You will find your pick up date on the order confirmation form you receive from the factory/retail facility. If your plans change, and you would like to pick up your car at a later date, you must notify your Volvo retailer who will notify Volvo Cars of North America about the change of pick up day. To be able to offer you the best possible service it is very important that you pick your new Volvo on the confirmed delivery date. Please consider your confirmed delivery date as important as a doctor's appointment! This will help avoid any unnecessary delays.
