Volvo Cars makes big jump in customer satisfaction survey
Volvo achieves biggest increase in latest Roy Morgan Satisfaction Survey
Volvo Cars achieved the biggest year-on-year increase by any car maker in the latest annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction survey.
A five-percentage-point jump in satisfaction to 95 per cent resulted in Volvo leaping into second place in the survey, above key luxury segment competitors.
The latest customer satisfaction survey from renowned market research company Roy Morgan covered 40,000 drivers over a 12-month period up to last May.
The satisfaction survey mirrors Volvo Car Australia’s strong sales performance over the past 18 months, which has seen the Swedish luxury brand achieve impressive month-on-month sales increases in a sluggish national market.
According to official industry data to the end of July, Volvo Cars has increased year-to-date sales by 23 per cent compared with this period last year. 2018 was a record year for the company’s sales in Australia.
“There is no doubt that the investments we are making in customer service, safety, design and technology, and in our brand are paying dividends,” says Volvo Car Australia’s managing director, Nick Connor.
“We are seeing these investments being reflected in our consistent sales growth, by winning a number of the most recent Car of the Year awards, and now in our customer satisfaction rating as measured by Roy Morgan.
“We are delighted that Australian consumers are choosing Volvo in the highly competitive luxury segment. Customer satisfaction is one of our highest priorities.
