Volvo ID

Volvo ID is a personal ID that gives access to a wide range of Volvo services both online and in your car.

The article applies to the V40, V70, XC70 and S80 from and including model year 2015 up to and including 2019; as well as the S60, V60 and XC60 from and including model year 2014 up to and including 2018. Volvo ID

The services available may vary over time and vary depending on equipment level and market.

Volvo ID is a personal login which consists of a username (email address/mobile number) and a password. Volvo ID is used when logging in to a series of connected services from Volvo, see information below. For information on how to set up a Volvo ID, see Create and register a Volvo ID .

Cars equipped with Sensus Connect

Note

From and including February 2020, it is no longer possible to send map destinations from websites to the car.

  • Book service and repair - If you have a registered workshop/dealer in your car, it is possible to request and book a service directly from the car. You also have to have registered your Volvo ID in the car for this service to work. For more information, see Book service and repair service.

Why have a Volvo ID?

A Volvo ID consists of a username and a password and it gives you access to Volvo's different services.

Note

When you change the username/password for a service (e.g. Volvo On CallOnly applies to Volvo On Call markets.) it will also be changed automatically for other services that require a Volvo ID.
