Port Macquarie

Weekend Trip

New South Wales - Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie

Coast up to Port Macquarie

Drive up to Port Macquarie via the coastline and take in the soothing, gorgeous topaz coloured waters along the way. There’s plenty to keep the family entertained too. Visit the famous One Mile Beach sand dune for the kids to stretch their legs, and head home via the Hunter Valley for something for the adults at the Smelly Cheese Shop. The hard part will be leaving without buying the store.

Trip Highlights

Try out Masa Madre’s sourdough Hot Hippie pizza for lunch.  Topped with kale, mushrooms and ricotta – you can see where it gets its name. When you get to Forster, pick up a coffee from Café Brassbell to keep your hands warm, before continuing up to the Rydges in Port Macquarie.

Whatever your tastes are, the locals up and down the Port Macquarie drive have it covered.
