Daylesford Day Trip

Day Trip

VIC - Daylesford

Daylesford waterfall

Fall in love with leafy Daylesford

Our roadtrip up to Daylesford takes you through beautiful bushland around Sailors Falls and Hepburn Regional Park. There are plenty of historic buildings and cottages along the way. Daylesford itself is filled with tree-lined streets that are aglow with yellow and orange hues in autumn. But the shops themselves are also beautiful - the locals have an eye for antiques, collectibles, and art. Not to mention many of the shops are heritage - the town is just a treasure trove for those with finer tastes. But the road doesn’t end there. After Daylesford, continue on to Trentham Falls for a picnic or to pause at the falls.

Trip Highlights

Visit creative husband and wife duo, David and Yuge Bromley at their store Bromley & Co. Pick up an artwork for your home from David, whose artworks express the female form on canvas, as well as in bronze and resin sculpture. The store also features his wife Yuge’s high-end clothing designs, which play with classic masculine cuts and tailoring for the modern woman. When you’re ready for a bite to eat, head to Cliffy’s Emporium on Raglan St. Sit down for their warming Shakshuka Eggs with goat’s cheese, chorizo and spinach in a rich tomato sauce. Or if you want to savour Daylesford, pick up a jar of their relish or pickles for your pantry.
