Take in the Salty South Coast Air
There’s nothing more refreshing than the salty air. Especially in winter. Our South Coast roadtrip is filled with sparkling water views across Jervis Bay, Lake Conjola and Ulladulla. You’ll also see the beautiful new growth in the forests around the region, in places such as Batemans Bay and Mogo. It’s a gorgeous part of the world that’s calming, but not so quiet there’s nothing to do. Get lost exploring the many shops reopening their doors in regions like Kiama and Berry.
When you head down south, plan a stop at the Bon Bon Sweet Shop in Berry. The shop feels like it’s stuck in time. A traditional, old style sweet shop, the walls are lined with jars of sweets in every colour, shape and size. Across the road is Milkwood Bakery – which offers some of the best artisanal breads and pastries on the south coast. And on the second day of your trip, why not get your hands dirty for a good cause. Support locals like Cupitt’s Estate, who offer organic gardening workshops so you can take a new skill home with you.
