To perform the test:
The car must have been stationary for at least one minute, able to receive satellite signals, and no calls to the ЭРА-ГЛОНАСС system operator must have been made within the last two hours. To ensure that the car can receive satellite signals, it is recommended that the car is positioned with a clear view of the sky. If a call has been made over the last two hours and the ЭРА-ГЛОНАСС system operator has not sent a deregistration SMS to the car, test mode will not be activated.
Make sure that the car is in ignition position II.
Press ON CALL, ON CALL, SOS, ON CALL, ON CALL, ON CALL, and hold down the last button until the test starts.
When you hear a tone, speak any phrase - this will then be played back in the car's audio system shortly afterwards.
When you hear two tones, the phrase from before will be played back again.
When three tones are heard, confirm that the phrase was heard by pressing the ON CALL button. Press the SOS button to confirm that the phrase was not heard or was performed with unsatisfactory quality.
If the test is successful and finished, the SOS button will go back to normal steady white light.
The result of the test is sent to an ЭРА-ГЛОНАСС system operator.
If no button is pressed in step 6, the test will restart up to 3 times. If no button is pressed during these retry cycles, the system will indicate failure. If there is no sound indication after pressing the combination in step 3, the loudspeaker may be broken.
In case of a system failure, the SOS button has a steady red light.
If the SOS button is mistakenly depressed as the last one in step 3 of the test cycle, a live emergency call will be initiated.
The ЭРА- ГЛОНАСС emergency call test is cancelled automatically when the test cycle is completed, if the car is moved more than 300 metres or when the ignition mode is set to I or 0. When testing is performed, the test cycle ends within a few minutes.
