Type lists for Volvo's child restraint systems
i-Size has been part of the new regulation since 2013 (UN R129) which includes child restraint systems installed with ISOFIX. i-Size means fewer installation options for child restraint systems and reduced risk of incorrect installation. An i-Size approved child restraint system ensures that the restraint system can be used universally in cars with i-Size approved seat positions. Information about the car models and which of the seats in the car are suitable is available in a type list that is included with the child restraint system. The type list is updated continuously as new car models come out on the market. You can find the latest version of the list in the link below. The type lists contain information about which car models and seating positions in the car that the child restraint systems are approved for.
