To use Volvo On Call related services you need a Volvo On Call PIN.

New Volvo On Call PIN

The PIN code is generated automatically by a Volvo On Call service center or by an authorized Volvo dealerIn market type B, only a Volvo dealer can generate a PIN code. Use Volvo On Call PIN

The Volvo On Call PIN is required for security reasons for the following services:

  • Create connection between the Volvo On Call app and your Volvo
  • Remote unlocking of your vehicle via Volvo On Call service center
  • When you start tracking a stolen vehicle via Volvo On Call service center
  • When you create new app users for your vehicle
  • When you cancel your Volvo On Call subscription via the app, e.g. when there is a change of owner

Forgotten or want to change Volvo On Call PIN

If you have forgotten your Volvo On Call PIN code or if you want to change your Volvo On Call PIN code for any reason (e.g. if you have bought a used car), contact your dealer or press the On Call button to order a new PIN code that you receive via e-mail and/or SMSIn market type B, only a Volvo dealer can generate a PIN code. Entered incorrect Volvo On Call PIN

You can enter an incorrect Volvo On Call PIN ten times in succession when attempting to access services in the app that require Volvo On Call PIN activation, before your account is locked. To be able to use the app again you must request a new Volvo On Call PIN and recreate your account by following the same process that was used to created your account the first time, see Getting started with Volvo On Call with Sensus Connect.

Difference between Volvo ID password and Volvo On Call PIN

The Volvo ID password is required when logging into the app using your Volvo ID. The Volvo On Call PIN is the four digit code that you receive via e-mail and/or sms. The Volvo On Call PIN is used for a number of Volvo On Call services, see 'Using Volvo On Call PIN' above. The Volvo On Call PIN proves that you are the authorized user of these services.
