Coolant
The coolant cools components related to the electric propulsion of the vehicle, and the excess heat can be used to heat the high-voltage battery or the passenger compartment.
Recommended grade: Volvo-approved premixed coolant.
Contact a workshop1 as soon as possible in the event of a warning for too-low or too-high coolant level.
Important
Do not open the coolant tank cap and do not add any fluids. Doing this can cause damage that is not covered by the warranty.
Only a workshop may fill coolant – contact a workshop. An authorized Volvo workshop is recommended.
Warning
Coolant is hazardous if ingested and could cause damage to organs (kidneys). The product contains ethylene glycol, inhibitor, water, etc.
