If you experience problems connecting to the internet

Note that certain phones switch off tethering after the contact with the car has been disconnected, e.g. if the phone sharing out the Wi-Fi network is taken out of the car. To reconnect to the Internet, activate tethering (portable/personal hotspot) in the phone.

If your car is equipped with a car modem (P-SIM) then the car will automatically reconnect to the Internet if the connection is interrupted, e.g. if the SIM card is removed. For more information on the car modem (P-SIM), see Connect to the Internet via your car modem (P-SIM).

The clock has been reset

If the clock has been reset, e.g. after the current to the battery has been cut in the event of visiting a service workshop, you must reset the clock before you can connect to the internet.

To set the clock, select SettingsSystemDate and Time in the center display's top view. The adjust the time and date by pressing the up or down arrows on the screen.
