Activating data sharing when starting a connected service or app

If you have not activated data sharing for a connected service or for downloaded apps, you can do this when starting them in your center display. The first time you start a service, or after e.g. a factory reset or certain software updates, you must also accept Volvo's terms and conditions for connected services.

Activate data sharing when you start a service

Select the function or service you wish to activate.

The first time you use the service, or after e.g. a factory reset or certain software updates, you must first accept Volvo's terms and conditions for connected services in order to continue.

Select to approve data sharing for the service or cancel.

If you choose to accept, data sharing will be activated and you can start using the service.

Activate data sharing when you start an app

To accept data sharing for an app that needs this function, start the app and tap allow in the pop-up window.

You can deactivate data sharing for services and apps in the Settings menu under SystemPrivacy and dataData Sharing.

XC90 and XC90 Twin Engine of model year 2016 and later with installed or updated software available from November 2017 onwards

S90, V90 and V90 Cross Country of model year 2017 and later with installed or updated software available from November 2017 onwards

XC60, XC60 Twin Engine and S90 Twin Engine of model year 2018 and later with installed or updated software available from November 2017 onwards
