How to activate/deactivate the service position
When the car is stationary and the windshield wipers are not on, you can activate/deactivate the service position via the function view as follows:
Activate/deactivate the service position by pressing button Wiper Service Position. The light indicator in the button illuminates when the service position is activated and the wipers then move to the service position. The light indicator goes out when you deactivate the service position.

The wiper blades also leave the service position if:
- Windshield wiping is activated
- Windshield washing is activated
- The rain sensor is activated
- The car is driven off
Ensure that the wiper blades are not frozen stuck before placing them in the service position.
If the wiper arms in service position are raised from the windshield, they must be folded back against the windscreen before activating wiping, washing or rain sensor as well as before departure. This is to prevent scratching the paint on the hood.
