VOLVO CAR ITALIA S.p.A., an Italian legal entity with R.E.A. No. 121921/BO and based in Via Enrico Mattei No. 66, C.A.P. 40138 - Bologna, PEC volvoautoitalia@pec.volvoautoitalia.it, (later, "Volvo Car Italia", "Holder", "VCI"), in the person of the legal representative pro tempore, will treat your data as described below.

Legal purposes and basis for treatment

We process the personal data you have granted so that you can provide you with the services, information and communications you have requested in connection with your inquiry or complaint. For this purpose, consent is necessary and mandatory for the purpose of taking charge, assessing the inquiry or complaint and resolving the reported problem.

The legal basis of the treatment is the consent of the person concerned and the legitimate interest of the owner related to the evaluation of the product you purchased and the measurement of the customer's level of liking.

Processing and collecting personal data

Your personal data will be processed and collected for the purposes outlined above by the customer care staff, the retailer/repairman associated with you, our affiliates and our business partners mentioned in Note 1 previously named responsible for the treatment. Personal data will also be transferred to Volvo Car Corporation (a Swedish legal entity with registration number 556074-3089). With regard to our business partners operating outside the European Economic Area, in countries for which there is no adequacy decision, the transfer of your personal data may take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Retention times

We will process your personal information in relation to your inquiries or complaints for up to twenty-four (24) months from the date of acquisition or last contact if subsequent litigation has been established; in this case, personal data will be retained for up to five (5) years from the date of judicial or out-of-court settlement of the litigation.
