Volvo, together with 3 vocational colleges, introduce the


Providing internships, scholarships, supporting equipment and teaching materials to create future technicians for Volvo service centres in Thailand.

To develop youth education and encourage future careers for a stronger society, in line with the brand’s values of always putting people at the centre of everything they do.

Volvo Car (Thailand) has aligned with 3 vocational colleges in Bangkok: Siam Technology College (Siam Tech), Panjavidhya Technological College, and Technicvithaya Vocational College, to organize the "VOLVO APPRENTICE PROGRAM". This trainee student program brings Volvo's world-class automotive technology to these vocational colleges with the goal of preparing quality trained technicians to work at Volvo service centres in the future. In addition, the company also offers scholarships to students who show dedication to their studies and exemplary behaviour. Teaching the next generation viable skills is the foundation of building a strong society and supporting this level of quality education is in line with Volvo's philosophy of always putting people at the centre of everything the brand does.

This belief applies to Volvo drivers, other road users, and employees in all departments of the company. But, as with everything we do at Volvo, we want to take our thinking into the future, so that is why we have created a program to help develop the next generation of Volvo technicians. The Volvo Apprentice Program is run in collaboration with three vocational colleges renowned for turning out qualified automotive technical personnel, an invaluable asset to Volvo. This training program gives students an unparalleled opportunity to gain knowledge and experience through working in a real-life working environment with a leading global car brand. Students who successfully graduate from the internship program may also be offered a full-time position in a Volvo workshop in the future. We also provide scholarships to students at each of the three vocational colleges, divided into three vocational courses, to further promote our belief in providing educational opportunities for students who want to achieve their goals and pursue a fulfilling career. The “VOLVO APPRENTICE PROGRAM” project involves 3 vocational colleges: Siam Technology College (Siam Tech), Panjavidhya Technological College and Technicvithaya Vocational College, two high-level vocational students are selected per institute and are enrolled in the selected Volvo Service Center. Before entering the internship, they will receive training by professional Volvo technicians with a review of basic mechanical knowledge and provide basic Volvo product knowledge with hands-on training in the workshop with constant assistance. Volvo also plans to provide training courses for faculty who wish to study Volvo advanced automotive technology.
