Volvo launches new retailers and service centers on 2 business locations, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road and Pattaya City

Bangkok - Volvo Cars Thailand presents two completely new Volvo retailer and service centre locations - GT Auto Company Limited, Pattaya Branch, Chonburi Province, and Phra Nakhon Swedish Car Company Limited, Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road Branch. Volvo customers in these areas will now have more convenient access to the unrivalled standards of the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) at these service centres.

 


Mr. Chris Wailes, Managing Director of Volvo Car (Thailand) Limited said, “Volvo Car Thailand would like to congratulate our retailer partners, GT Auto Co., Ltd. and Phranakorn Swedish Car Co., Ltd, on the occasion of launching their new Volvo showrooms and service centres to meet the growing demand from Volvo customers. Phranakorn Swedish Car located in Bangkok's busy core business zone of Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, which is the business centre and the main street of Bangkok that connects to major roads used to travel across the province, and GT Auto Co Ltd located in Pattaya in Chonburi, covering Chon Buri, Pattaya and Rayong. This is part of Volvo's business expansion plan to support more customers, especially in the eastern region, which is considered another very important economic zone due to it being the location of the country's main manufacturing industry. The rapid economic growth rate has seen a surge in consumers turning to premium grade imported cars, with many choosing the Volvo brand. It’s for this reason that Volvo Car Thailand sees the importance of having a standardized showroom and service center in the Eastern region to help Volvo customers in Chonburi and nearby areas, meaning they’ll no longer need to travel to Bangkok to visit a service centre. This will save time and greatly increases convenience for these customers, especially in the current situation where travelling across provinces is more difficult than usual. The company will strive to continue to add more showrooms and standard service centres across the country to provide easy access to quality Volvo service for every customer."

 

 

Volvo GT Auto showroom, Pattaya branch
Located in Na Kluea Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi, this impressive new showroom covers more than 500 square meters and includes a comprehensive maintenance service centre. Operated by GT Auto Co., Ltd., a leading vehicle dealer brand in Thailand for more than 22 years, currently operates 2 Volvo service centres: GT Auto, Witthayu, comprising a showroom and the first VRE standard maintenance centre on Wireless Road, and GT Auto Pattaya, the only official Volvo showroom and maintenance centre in the Eastern region.

 

 

Mr. Winn Santipongchai, Managing Director of GT Auto Co., Ltd, said, “In order to provide Volvo's Retail Experience (VRE) to even more customers, we have decided to once again jointly invest in with Volvo Car Thailand to build a new showroom and aftermarket facilities in Pattaya Chonburi, which is one of the largest provincial business cities in Thailand, to meet the needs of our Volvo customers in Pattaya and nearby. Our new showroom has been designed in line with the latest VRE concept, as per our location on Witthayu Road, where customers are greeted by uncompromised Scandinavian Style and an inviting lounge area. This provides our customers with a relaxed environment that is directly connected to the workshop so as they can see the staff and their Volvo in complete comfort.”

 

 

Volvo Showroom, Phra Nakhon, Swedish Car, Vibhavadi Rangsit Branch
This vibrant new Volvo showroom has been launched to support the ever-increasing number of Volvo customers in Bangkok and specifically provide world-class service to customers in the Ladprao-Vibhavadi Rangsit zone. It is operated by Phra Nakhon Swedish Car Company Limited, which opened in 2020, a subsidiary of Phra Nakhon Automobile, a well-established and longstanding automobile business that has been satisfying customers in Thailand since 1957.

 

 

Mr. Thawatchai Jungsanguanpornsuk, Managing Director of Phra Nakhon Swedish Car Co., Ltd said “Building confidence with customers is an important aspect of doing business and having a business partnership with Volvo Car (Thailand) Co., Ltd. adds to that confidence. We have already opened showrooms and service centres on Lad Phrao Road, we are using that experience and knowledge in our new location on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, a main road where the competition is very high.
