Driver Alert System*
The Driver Alert System is intended to assist drivers whose driving ability is deteriorating or who are inadvertently leaving the lane they are driving on.
Lane Keeping Aid is one of the functions in the Driver Alert System - sometimes also referred to as LKA (Lane Keeping Aid). The function is intended for use on motorways and similar major roads in order to reduce the risk of the vehicle accidentally leaving its own lane in certain situations.
Driver Alert Control (DAC)* - symbols and messages
Driver Alert Control - DAC can show symbols and text messages in the combined instrument panel or in the centre console's screen in different situations.

Settings are made from the centre console display screen and its menu system.

DAC is intended to attract the driver's attention when he or she starts to drive less consistently, e.g. if the driver becomes distracted or starts to fall asleep.
