Setting the clock

The first time you use the car, or if the current to the car's battery has been disconnected, you may need to make the settings for time and date. It is important that the clock is set, so that the car can connect to the Internet, amongst other things.

 Note

Information for cars with built-in Google is given in the car manual.

Settings for time and date

The settings for time and date are accessed via the car's centre display.

Select SettingsSystemDate and Time in the top view.

Then set the time and date by pressing the Up or Down arrows on the touchscreen.

Automatic time for cars with GPS

If your car is equipped with navigation system then you have the option to select Auto Time. The time zone is then adjusted automatically depending on where the car is located. For a certain type of navigation system, the current location (country) must also be set in order to obtain the correct time zone. If Auto Time is not selected then time and date are adjusted using the up or down arrows on the touch screen.

Daylight saving time

In certain countries it is possible to select automatic setting of daylight saving time using Auto. For other countries, daylight saving time can be set using On or Off.

The clock is shown in both the driver and centre display. Its position in the 12-inch and 8-inch driver display is shown here.

If the battery has been disconnected

If the clock has been reset after the car's battery has been disconnected after e.g. a visit to a service workshop, you may need to set the clock again. If the clock is not set then the car's Internet connection may be affected.
