Operate Sensus Connected Touch

This article describes how to operate Sensus Connected Touch and how to change the appearance of the keypad.

Navigate via the steering wheel controls

To open the browser, scroll down using the thumbwheel on the steering wheel controls. Scroll up and down to navigate in the menu. If you scroll up beyond the first icon, this will take you back to the main view. Use the Exit button to navigate back a step, and the Enter button to select options.

Navigating in play mode

To scroll in a track/podcast, use the forward and backward arrows on the steering wheel control. Use the Exit button to leave the view.

Navigating in the calculator

You can scroll your latest calculations with the thumbwheel. Calculate the answer by pressing the thumbwheel.

Change the appearance of the keyboard

To change the appearance of the on-screen keyboard:

Go to Settings and select Keyboard.
Select Input languages and select desired keyboard.

When you are in a text field, you have the option of switching the different (selected) keyboard by swiping on the spacebar. You can call up special characters by holding down any of the keyboard buttons.

  • S60 and V60 from and including model year 2011 to and including 2014.

  • XC60 from and including model year 2011 to and including 2014Model year 2011 applies only to cars manufactured after week 46..

  • V70, XC70 and S80 from and including model year 2012 to and including 2014.

  • It is possible to install Sensus Connected Touch for model year 2014 and later, but not to cars equipped with Sensus Connect.
