Useful information about the car's windows

All the power windows can be controlled from the driver's door and for the other doors each power window can be controlled from its own door. For certain models there is also the option to specify a panoramic roof.

Using power windows

In order to be able to use the power windows, the ignition position must be at least I. You can control all the power windows using the buttons by the driver's door. The other keypads can only each control their own power window. Only one keypad can be used at a time.

 Warning

Check that children or other passengers are not trapped if/when the windows are closed using the remote control key.

If there is a child in the car, remember to always switch off the power supply to the windows by setting the car's electrical system in ignition position 0, and then take the key with you when leaving the car.

Speeds above 180 km/h (112 mph)

It is not possible to open the car's windows at speeds above 180 km/h (112 mph), but you can always close them.

Pulsating wind noise

If you hear a pulsating wind noise when the rear windows are open you can also open the front windows slightly in order to reduce it.

Panoramic roof1

The panoramic roof consists of two glass sections, a front section that can be opened and a rear section consisting of fixed roof glass.
