Together with our motorsport partner, Cyan Racing, we have been pushing Polestar to its limits, and sometimes beyond, on racing circuits around the world since 1996.

Polestar and Cyan Racing engineers have collaborated on the development and production of numerous high-performance cars and performance optimisations. This collaboration is at the core of our engineering philosophy and our quest of developing and building performance cars and products for driving enthusiasts.

Power Driven Sustainability

Power driven sustainability. Volvo has been committed to developing sustainable vehicles for a long time. And we at Polestar have always shared this commitment.

When our engineers looked at the original Volvo S60 and V60 powertrains, they made more than 70 modifications and upgrades, without negatively affecting efficiency or CO2 emission.

This new generation, light-weight Drive-E powertrain – comprised of a highly efficient turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (T6) mated to the new Geartronic™ eight-speed automatic gearbox – ensures you get optimum performance at any engine speed.

From track to road.

Refined with the experience and engineering of nearly two decades on the racetrack, the S60 has undergone extensive development to become a high-performance vehicle, deserving of its Polestar badge.

Responsive Handling

Equipped with 80% stiffer springs and Öhlins shock absorbers, the S60 Polestar chassis responds to every nuance of the road.

Smooth Shifting

Take control with the S60 Polestar’s eight-speed automatic transmission or gearshift paddles, calibrated to Polestar specifications.

Precise Stopping

A high-capacity brake system, paired with specialised wheels and tyres for summer and winter, creates superior braking endurance.
