Driving journal with the Volvo Cars app*
Registration of travel information
Travel information is sent to the Volvo Cars app between 30 seconds and one minute after the car key has been removed. If you restart the engine within this time to drive on, the journey in progress before the engine was switched off continues. In case of longer stops, e.g. refuelling at a petrol station, two trips will be logged. You have the possibility to merge multiple trips into one via the app.
The travel information can be downloaded and saved in Excel, a useful function if, for example, you have a company car.
See the driving journal
The Volvo Cars app stores information on the journeys you have made in your car over the last 100 days. You can view a summary of your journeys in Driving journal in the 
tab.
The following information on car journeys is shown in the app:
- Title
- Category
- Note
- Route (with start and stop location)
- Time
- Distance
- Fuel consumption
- Started (time when journey was started)
- Finished (time when journey was finished)
- Meter reading
