A speed limiter (SL* ) can be likened to a reverse cruise control - the driver regulates the speed using the accelerator pedal but is prevented from accidentally exceeding a pre-selected/set maximum speed by the speed limiter.
Activating and starting the Speed Limiter
The speed limiter function (SL* ) must first be selected and activated in order to be able to regulate the speed.

Reactivating the speed limiter from standby mode
The speed limiter (SL* ) can be reactivated after having been temporarily deactivated and placed in standby mode.
