You can create shortcuts to the functions offered in the Volvo Cars app.
Siri
On iOS devices, the Volvo Cars app version 4.1 and later offers support for Siri. Using Siri you can control some of the functions in the Volvo Cars app with your voice.
Widgets
If you are using the Volvo Cars app on an Android or iOS device, you can add Widgets (shortcuts) for faster access to functions such as climate remote start and lock/unlock car.
3D Touch
Using 3D Touch you have access to shortcuts for some functions in the Volvo Cars app1.
Press firmly on the app icon on your phone to access, among other things, shortcuts to the following functions:
- Flash
- Starting climate control
- Lock the doors
