Send destination to the car via Send to Car

Send to Car allows you to send map destinations to your Volvo. You can send destinations via the Volvo On Call app. To use this function, your car must be equipped with Sensus Connect and Sensus Navigation, and there must be a Volvo ID registered to the car. To use the function via the Volvo On Call app, your car also has to be equipped with Volvo On Call.

From and including February 2020, it is no longer possible to send map destinations from websites to the car.

To send a destination to the car, follow the instructions below.

Instructions for the Volvo On Call app

Applicable to Volvo On Call markets only.

On your smartphone: Open Volvo On Call and log in with your Volvo ID.

On your smartphone: Open the function "Send destination".

On your smartphone: Select a destination from the search results.

On your smartphone: Select "Send destination to car".

The destination is sent to your car's navigation system. Select Set single destination to start navigation.
