Volvo will process the data listed above on the basis that such processing is necessary in order for us to be able to deliver the Volvo On Call service, in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable between you and Volvo. You will be unable to use the service unless you allow us to process your Personal data.
Storing and deleting data
When your Volvo On Call subscription comes to an end, the details linked with this service, including your Personal data, will be deleted after 90 days. For information on how information linked to your Volvo ID is handled on termination of your contract, please see Terms and conditions for services.
Change of ownership
When a change of ownership of the car is registered in Volvo On Call, all data, including personal data, relating to the previous owner is permanently deleted. A change of ownership can be registered at a Volvo dealer or in the Volvo On Call app.
If the driving journal is activated in the Volvo On Call service, the data relating to trips is stored in Volvo's cloud for 100 days and then deleted. If you have a hybrid/Twin Engine model, data is also stored for the route. The driving journal for petrol and diesel cars only contains the start and finish positions for trips.
