Volvo Participation In The Ennstal-Classic
Close to 200 cars, from the twenties to the early seventies, drove almost 1000 km under very challenging conditions. The indisputable star of the race was a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, considered the most expensive car in the world. Recently another 250 GTO car sold for 52 million USD at an auction.
A number of laps at the Formula 1 circuit Red Bull ring was also included.
The 1968 P1800S driven by Thomas Ingenlath had been meticulously restored by car enthusiasts within different departments in Volvo Cars. It is a part of Volvo Cars Heritage's fleet of drivable classic Volvos.
