Your life, your car, connected
Your phone is the key
We are making it easier than ever to access and share your Volvo by enabling you to use your phone as a key. Digital key technology will allow you to open and start your car with your phone, share a key with friends, family and colleagues, and use car sharing services wherever you are in the world. Volvo is currently testing this convenient Bluetooth-based technology in Sweden and plans to become the world’s first car manufacturer to offer it to customers, in a limited-edition car, in 2017.
Where the magic happens
It’s more than a kilometre long – with a corridor running the entire length of it – and around 6,500 people work there. Every day around 1,200 cars roll out of the doors and onto the roads, and every single one of them is made to order.
Light is a source of joy and inspiration in Sweden, yet for some it goes further than that. Meet the people bringing the principles of illumination into their work, and to the new Volvo XC40.
Colour: the new white
A new appreciation of colour is helping to redefine Scandinavian design, with white, grey and black supplemented by bold colours. It’s all about individual expression, as the new Volvo XC40 proves.
