The West Coast

Gothenburg / Göteborg

As Sweden's second-largest city, Göteborg is not only home to Volvo, it also offers a wide variety of activities to choose from. We encourage you to explore the cosy centre as well as the nature around the city. Located on Sweden's West coast, the city offers easy access to its southern archipelago but also plenty of forest and lakes to explore. For a fun day in the city check out the popular theme park Liseberg, go shopping at Nordstan mall, visit Feskekörkan and don't forget to have a typical Swedish "fika" in Haga, one of Göteborg's oldest neighbourhoods. And why not go to the opera in the evening? For a more extensive Gothenburg guide, click here.
