Using Apple®CarPlay®*
To use CarPlay1, Siri® voice control must be activated in your iPhone®2. The device also needs an Internet connection for all functions to work.
Connect an iPhone and start CarPlay
Note
CarPlay can only be used if Bluetooth is deactivated in the car. A phone or media player connected to the car via Bluetooth will therefore not be available when CarPlay is active.
Connect an iPhone with support for CarPlay to the USB port with a white frame3. If CarPlay has been used from the phone previously then CarPlay is opened automatically.
If it is the first time that the phone is connected, read and accept the conditions for connection.
CarPlay opens and compatible apps are shown.
Tap on the desired app.
The app starts.
CarPlay runs in the background if another app is started. To show CarPlay again – tap on the CarPlay app in the app view.
