Status of Volvo On Call subscription
You can view the status of your Volvo On Call subscription in your Volvo On Call app under Show details in the Car tab. From here you can extend your subscription.
If you do not have access to the Volvo On Call app, contact your dealer who will help you to find information on the expiry date of your subscription. You then need to state your car's vehicle identification number Vehicle Identification Number(VIN).
Message to indicate that your Volvo On Call subscription will soon be expiring
You will be notified 45 days before the subscription expires, with a message on your Volvo’s display telling you that your Volvo On Call subscription is about to run out. If you are using the Android or iOS version of the Volvo On Call app, you will also receive reminders in your app.
Disabled Volvo On Call subscription
When the subscription period has expired you will be alerted via a message in the car's display showing the text On Call deactivated. This message disappears when the subscription is reactivated.
You will not be able to use the Volvo On Call services or the Volvo On Call app when your subscription has expired. Though, the emergency services via the SOS button and automatic collision alert will continue to function. To use Volvo On Call again, you will need to renew your subscription.
Roadside assistance costs
Roadside assistance costs are included for the first XVaries from market to market. years when you buy a new Volvo. When this time has passed, you will be offered free roadside assistance in most markets if the car has been serviced regularly by an authorised Volvo workshop. An authorised Volvo dealer can notify you of the status of your roadside assistance agreement.
Volvo On Call can help you get back on the road, even if your Roadside Assistance agreement has expired. In this case, you will be asked to pay the cost for the service that is sent out to you.
Please note that if you do not have a valid road assistance agreement, additional recovery costs mat apply.
