Symbols and messages for adaptive cruise control*

A number of symbols and messages regarding the adaptive cruise control (ACC1) can be shown via the driver display and/or the head-up display*.

In the following illustrative example, the RSI* (Road Sign Information) function informs the driver that the maximum permitted speed is 130 km/h (80 mph).

The previous illustration shows that the adaptive cruise control is set to maintain 110 km/h (68 mph) and that there is no vehicle ahead to follow.

Clean the windscreen in front of the camera and radar unit's detectors.

A text message can be cleared by briefly pressing the P5–1507–Symbol-OK button button, located in the centre of the steering wheel's right-hand keypad.

If a message remains: Contact a workshop – an authorised Volvo workshop is recommended.
