Operating the panoramic roof

The panoramic roof consists of a sun visor and a glass roof panel. You can adjust the panoramic roof settings as required and desired.

Opening/closing the panoramic roof

How to operate the panoramic roof in your car is described below.

Preparations

17w06 - P5 - Support site - Engine start/stop button

If the car is switched off, turn the start knob to START and release the knob.

You can find the button for controlling the panoramic roof above the interior rearview mirror.

Open the panoramic roof to ventilation position

Press the button upward once to open the panoramic roof to ventilation position.

Close the panoramic roof from ventilation position

Press the button downward once to close the panoramic roof from ventilation position.

Open the panoramic roof fully

17w06 - Support site - Open to full position

Take hold of the button and pull it backward twice to fully open the panoramic roof.

Close the panoramic roof from fully open position

Press the button downward twice to close the panoramic roof from fully open position.

Warning

Children, other passengers or objects may be trapped by the panoramic roof's moving parts.

Always operate the panoramic roof with caution.

Do not allow children to play with the controls.

Remember to always switch off the power supply to the panoramic roof by setting the car's electrical system in ignition position 0, and then take the key with you when leaving the car.

Note

Do not open the panoramic roof when load carriers are fitted.

Remove ice and snow before opening the panoramic roof. Take care not to scratch surfaces or damage strips.

It may not be possible to operate windows at low temperatures.
